The work “The Volume” highlights the consequences of overconsumption that characterise contemporary societies and the difficulty of managing the vast amount of waste produced. The project reimagines discarded materials as artistic and sonic elements that respond to movement.
We invite you to participate by bringing non-organic waste or discarded objects (fabric, paper, plastic, aluminium, packaging, toys, cables, etc.*) that you will have collected from your daily life and bring to the workshop. During the session, we will collectively explore the materials, document their potential, compose with them, and ultimately transform the content of their materiality.
* Please ensure that the materials you bring are clean and free from any organic elements (e.g. food residues, mould, etc.).
